GlassCoasterStore.com aims to ship your order as quickly as possible! However, as your order may be personalized, the time between you place your order and receive your package will vary based on the following factors:
Production Time:
This refers to the number of business days required to prepare your order to getting it ready for shipment. Every personalized product here on our store has a specific production time. Such is indicated on its product page under the Product Information section, which is found adjacent to the product image and labeled Processing Time, and Description tab, where you can find the product features and other information. To give you an idea, the following are the standard production times for most of our personalized products:
- Personalized with a Custom Printing: 10 business days
- Personalized with a Custom Engraving: 3 to 5 business days
Rush Production:
Here on GlassCoasterStore.com, we keep our Rush Order Fees at a minimum so that you can get more bang for your buck. Most of our items are indicated with the following Rush Production Options:
Rush Production Options - Custom Printed Personalized Items:
1-2 business days, Excludes Shipping Time (Additional $0.75 Per Piece) ($35 Minimum, Max $75 per order*)
3-5 business days, Excludes Shipping Time (Additional $0.55 Per Piece) ($25 Minimum, Max $55 per order*)
*If your order with 1-2 Rush Business Days or 3-5 Rush Business Days does not meet its required $35 or $25 Minimum Rush Order Fee, the amount needed to attain its respective minimum rush fee will be added separately.
*If the rush fee is greater than $75 for the 1-2 days or $55 for the 3-5 days, the excess will be returned to you as refund.
Rush Production Option - Custom Engraved Personalized Items:
1-2 business days, Excludes Shipping Time: Add only $2.00 per Piece
Please refer to your desired product's Rush Production Options for specific information. Below, we charted out a rush production fee sample computation for custom printed order of personalized glass coasters to give you an idea as to how they are computed:
Rush Production Fee = $37.50
An additional $12.50 (e.g., $35 - $22.50) will be added separately to your bill to meet the $35 required minimum for 1-2 days Rush Production.
A $37.50 refund will be returned to you, e.g., $112.50 total rush fee minus $75 maximum rush fee per order. |
Shipping Time:
This refers to the time between your order leaves our warehouse until you receive your package. Please take note that shipping time is dependent upon the Shipping Method of your choice and is totally out of our control. You will select the Shipping Method during the checkout process. Currently, we work with the following U.S. shipping providers to deliver you a fast, reliable, and hassle-free nationwide shipping service. Please see their transit time chart below. Also, please note that weekends and holidays do not count as business days.
Shipping Options (Transit Time)
UPS Ground (4-6 business days)
U.S. Standard (AK, HI, PR, VI, AS, MP, APO, AFO) 4-6 business days)
UPS Next Day Early A.M. (1 business day - before 8 am to most locations)
UPS Next Day Air 1 business day - before 10:30 to most locations

UPS 3rd Day Select (3 business days - before end of the day)
When Will I Receive My Order?
Add the product's Production Time (e.g., Standard or Rush Business Days) and the respective Shipping Time of your planned shipping option to count the number of days until you receive your package. The following are examples:
If a product's Production Time reads:
Production Time: 1-2 business days (excludes shipping time)
This means that we can ship your order as soon as within the day or the following day from the time it was placed. Thus, if you place your order on a Monday and you choose to have it shipped via Next Day Air shipping method, your order will arrive the next day, that's Tuesday - the earliest, or on Wednesday - the latest.
If a product's Production Time reads:
Production Time: 10 business days (excludes shipping time)
This means that we need up to ten (10) business days to process, e.g., personalize, your order for this item. For large orders, this can mean that your order may be shipped ten (10) business days after it was placed. Again, please consider that weekends and holidays are not included in the computation of business days. So, make sure to review the required dates for your order to guarantee that they will arrive at your destination on time. Or, you can upgrade your order's processing time to rush 1-2 business days or 3-5 business days.

Make Places Feel More Inviting with Japanese Noren
There is always something about a hanging Japanese noren that makes a place feel warmer and inviting. Also known as door hanging or Japanese doorway curtains, Japanese noren curtains are typically soft and thick rectangular tapestries, which are made of fabrics, like cotton, polyester, rayon, and linen. They are traditionally hung on the entrances and doorways of shops and restaurants and can be used in many ways, i.e., as signage, as soft fabric blinds that will help to screen spaces from the flow of dust from the road or to shield glass-walled interiors from the heat and glare of the sun, as space and room partitions, as a means of giving spaces a sense of privacy, and many more.
Being made of fabrics, which sometimes have the subtle sheen of silk, Japanese noren curtains are usually soft to touch and will delight you for their beautiful texture. Depending upon their fabric thickness, some Japanese noren can filter the flow of light without completely blocking your view of the outdoors. Thicker varieties, meanwhile, particularly those that are long, can even work as space dividers that can help to keep the heat or cold of your air-conditioning equipment enclosed inside an intended space. And, just like curtains, fabric blinds, and all your other functional decorating implements, you can use your Japanese noren to give your indoor and outdoor spaces many different kinds of looks.
Maintain the Privacy of Spaces Even With Open Doors
Japanese noren curtains are easily hung by feeding a curtain rod, like a curtain rod, thin bamboo pole, or a long wooden dowel, through the loops or pockets, which are sewn on their top. They also feature one or more slits for easy viewing and passage. Unlike most curtains, they are designed to be hung without folds around the rod and they are available in various lengths – from the short Japanese noren curtains, which you can hang like valances or signs on the doorways, entryways, and windows, to the long Japanese noren, which are excellent at maintaining the privacy of a room even when the doors are open because they hang long enough to partially or fully cover the doorway.
With proper care, your Japanese noren will actually last for a very long time. Hang them in areas where they are not directly exposed to the sunlight, hand-wash them regularly to get rid of any dust and dirt that will reduce their color, especially of their silkscreen-painted design.

Interesting Facts and History of the Japanese Noren
Traditionally, businesses hang a noren outside of the door as a sign that their shop is open. They are always removed or hung inside the door at the end of the business day to mean that their shop is closed. While giving shops a unique persona, noren also acts as a welcome sign and a promotional tool that attracts with its color and design.
The Japanese noren is deeply stitched within the heart, history, and culture of Japan. It was during the Jomon Period (13000 - 300 BC), many thousands of years ago, when the Japanese started to adapt their use as Nanren or door hanging. Using large leaves, long grasses, and reeds, people would hang them at the doorways of their homes and temples as windbreakers for protection from the sun, wind, and dust.
During the Heian Period (794 - 1192), people started to make noren as rectangular tapestries with a slit using fabrics, like hemp. They were also utilized as everyday implements, particularly as door hangings and partitions for large rooms. The Muromachi Period (1392 - 1573) had seen the evolution of the Japanese noren as a tool for trade and recognition when the Japanese shops started to hang them at the entrance of the stores with their business name, logo, products, or services while families would decorate them noren with their family name.
Over the centuries, the noren was also called by many names, like Nanren, Nauren, and Nohren. Its purpose and design have also attracted many individuals and businesses alike, thus more than door hangings, door signs, and promotional tools, they are cherished as canvas for works for art, as multipurpose tapestries for decorating the inside and outside of homes and business places, Asian decor, and a lot more.
